You’ll first learn the parts and controls of the grader—steering, blade angles, articulation joints, gears, levers—and how each function affects the worksite.

How long does the motor grader training take?
Our training program runs for approximately three to four weeks. We combine classroom theory with hands-on operation, gradually increasing your skill level each week.
You’ll start with basic driving, progress to blade handling, and then move on to full-site grading activities. If you require extra time, we offer practice sessions to help you sharpen your technique before final assessment.
Do I need any prior experience to join the course?
Not at all. This course is designed for absolute beginners. We’ll start you off from scratch and guide you slowly. Whether you’ve never been around a grader before or you’re switching careers, we’ll walk with you step by step. You only need determination and the willingness to learn.
What makes your training different from others in Uganda?
We focus on the individual. Unlike crowded training centres, we limit the number of students per grader. You won’t spend your day watching others drive—you’ll be in the machine yourself.
We also offer things most training centres don’t: clean lodging with meals, free visa support for foreigners, language flexibility, and job connection assistance. Our approach is professional but warm, and above all—practical.
How much does motor grader training cost in Uganda?
Our training fee ranges between UGX 1,550,000 depending on your payment method and whether you require accommodation.
We accept installment payments to make it easier for those without full fees upfront. You can start with 70% and clear the balance before you finish. We also offer occasional scholarship discounts for early applicants—just ask when you inquire.
Will I receive a certificate after the training?
Yes. Upon successful completion, you’ll be awarded a certificate including your name, course details, and the grader you trained on. This certificate is accepted by employers across Uganda and in neighboring countries.
It proves that you’ve received hands-on, practical training and are ready for fieldwork.
Do you offer job placement support after the course?
Yes, we do. While we don’t guarantee automatic employment, we connect our graduates with companies looking for operators, especially in construction and road works.
We also prepare you for job interviews, provide reference letters, and keep in touch when opportunities arise. Several of our trainees have secured jobs through our referrals.
What support do you give to trainees from upcountry or outside Uganda?
For those traveling from far districts, we provide clean, safe accommodation with free meals for the duration of training.
You don’t have to worry about where to sleep or what to eat. For foreigners, we provide free visa assistance, helping you through the immigration paperwork. Once you arrive, you’ll be welcomed and guided through every step.
Is the training available in local languages?
Absolutely. While English is the main language of instruction, we understand that not everyone speaks it fluently. That’s why our trainers also use Swahili and some Luganda to explain complex parts in a way you’ll understand. We believe language should never be a barrier to success.
